Is this
why the Democrats continue to be in the minority in this country?
To clarify, in case you were wondering....I don't really consider myself a republican, but I certainly don't consider myself a democrat either. I am quite disgusted with both parties. My ideology is one of fiscal conservatism, along with staunch support of individual liberties. The Republican Party seems to favor bigger government and doesn't appear to be all that concerned with individual rights. Problem is, we don't really have a viable third party in this country. I suppose that in future elections I will vote more "R" than "D" on my ballot, but I will probably end up leaving a good number blank as well. To me, it just seems like the republicans have moved too far to the right, and the dems, in response, have moved too far to the left.
All I know is, it is simple inexcusable for the greatest country on Earth to have to decide between George W. Bush and John Kerry for president. Thinking on it, I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
